A Sisterhood for Justice

“Women are the fastest-growing group in the prison system, with an 860% increase in the last 30 years. That's not just a number, it's a crisis. I know firsthand how hard it is to rebuild after incarceration, which is why I'm leading FedFam4Life. We need your help to support formerly incarcerated women as they return to their communities. Join us and be part of the change.”

Our Approach

FF4L provides ongoing assistance to women returning to their communities from prison, including LGBTQ+ women and women who have served our country as veterans of the Armed Forces. Our goal is to build a society for formerly incarcerated women and those with a conviction history that is centered on restoration. FF4L understands the unique traumas that each woman carries, both before and during incarceration, and we are dedicated to helping them reach their fullest potential as they move forward together on this shared journey. From bailout to case resolution, FF4L offers continuous support at the state level and has successfully implemented alternatives to incarceration nationwide.

SECURING THE RELEASE OF ALL WOMEN AND GIRLS FROM THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX.

We aim to shift the paradigm of our criminal justice system, moving away from punishment toward restoration. Recognizing the unique traumas each woman carries from both before and during incarceration, our mission is to restore them to their fullest potential as they progress into the future alongside their sisters in this collective journey. With our state level, from the initial bailout through case resolution, we offer continuous support and have successfully implemented alternatives to incarceration.  Our extensive sisterhood provides ongoing assistance for federal women upon release and for those awaiting liberation.

SUPPORT FF4L

FF4L leads in taking direct action through case assistance and advocacy to free our sisters from incarceration in the federal system, where there are approximately 12,000 women currently imprisoned.

Your support helps us to assemble our response teams and bring awareness to certain cases. You supports helps us let our Sisters know they are not alone, to get their cases heard and reviewed.
